Katherine Harford, manager of Let’s Grow Together, visited Dr. Niall Muldoon and his team at the offices of the Ombudsman for Children this week. We were all delighted to see the beautiful mural created by the children in Hollyhill Knocknaheeny Family Centre displayed so prominently. The Ombudsman said that it helped him and the team to include find ways to include younger children, in their programmes and consultations.
The mural was presented to the Ombudsman as part of the launch of our Learning Together: Young Knocknaheeny Process Evaluation in 2018 and was framed and hung with pictures from the day by Ballyfermot Youth Group.
We hope that all visitors to the office experience the hope, playfulness and artistic talent that the children and early years professionals exuded while making the mural and presenting it to the Ombudsman.
