We are happy to announce that the Incredible Years Teacher Classroom Management (TCM) training will begin on September 20th 2022.
Spaces are limited, with priority given to those working in school in the North-west area of Cork City, so please ensure to secure by confirming with Arhonda Lynch, our Schools Community Support Worker.
The TCM programme offers an ideal opportunity for the school community gain practical strategies supporting the teaching role and environment, as well as the social and emotional wellbeing of children and encouraging parental involvement in children’s learning. It aligns with the other Incredible Years Programmes that are available such as the parents programme and the Dina. Having more school staff trained, helps to ensure a whole school approach, and builds on what you have already done. It helps to sustain momentum. It compliments your existing efforts and programme, around language, literacy, the wider curriculum, child wellbeing, school policies and parental engagement.
Thanks to Basis Point and Archways, this training is free.
The Incredible Years Teacher Classroom Management (TCM) training again from September to December 2022. This training is open to any school staff member. The dates for the next TCM training are:
- Tuesday, 20thSeptember
- Tuesday, 4thOctober
- Tuesday, 25th October
- Tuesday, 15thNovember
- Tuesday, 6thDecember
The training will take place in the community room in Hollyhill Library from 10am to 3.30pm on the above dates, refreshments/lunch will be provided.
